October 2011 - Matthew Bee Runs 100 Miles For GI Blues. Matthew Rasied over £400 for GI Blues after completing a one hundred mile marathon in October 2010.  Matt and his wife Nicola first heard of us when the GI Blues Charitable Trust was first established and we offered support to their family. Matt and Nicola continue to support the charity.

December 2011: Win A Car Prize Draw. In December 2011 a group of G I Blues volunteers were invited to sell tickets for the win a car prize draw in Eastbourne Arnedale centre in a bid to raise funds and awarness for the Gastro Intestinal Blues Charitable Trust. The event is held every year over a number of weeks, and a number of selected charities are invited to take part, It was our first year and we raised £269.00.

December 2011: Tombola and Awareness Stand: Every Few months we aim to hold an awareness stand in Eastbourne Arndale Centre, inviting the public to come and see us and learn more about the charity and all that we do. Last December We decided to offer people the chance to take part in a tombola and see Father Christmas, this gained lots of interest and promoted much awareness of the charity and the supoort that we offer. The Tombola raised £75.00.
